FAQ & clinical feedback

Clarity at the bedside

We understand that integrating a Tele-ICU partner is a significant clinical and operational decision. Below are the answers to the questions most frequently asked by our hospital partners.

Clinical integration & workflow

Will CCTM replace our current hospitalists or ICU staff?

We are a "Force Multiplier." Our role is to support your existing teams, providing specialist-level backup and oversight so your bedside clinicians can focus on patient care without the risk of burnout or isolation.

How do your physicians communicate with our onsite nursing team?

Communication is the heart of our "Affability" pillar. We communicate with the onsite nursing team the same way  as other doctors and consultants (via calls, texts, or in our case on video).

Can you manage complex ventilator cases remotely?

Yes. Our intensivists are experts in ventilator management and weaning. By providing real-time oversight of ventilator settings and patient hemodynamics, we help facilities safely keep high-acuity patients in-house.

"I was worried about a 'remote doctor' being disconnected, but it was the opposite. They are a true partner who listens to the nurses and supports our decisions."

— ICU Nurse Manager

Technology & security

What is the "Zero-Data Footprint" policy?

Data security is paramount. CCTM does not store, host, or transmit patient health information (PHI) outside of your secure hospital network. All clinical documentation is performed directly within your EMR, ensuring 100% HIPAA compliance and zero third-party data risk.

Does CCTM integrate with our current EMR (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)?

Yes. We are EMR-agnostic. Our physicians utilize your facility's existing credentials to document directly into your system, maintaining a single, unified clinical record for every patient.

What hardware is required for implementation?

CCTM is hardware-agnostic. We believe clinical care should not be limited by proprietary equipment. Most of our partners utilize their own existing iPads or dedicated telemedicine carts. For facilities looking for a turnkey solution, we provide high-definition, plug-and-play carts and tablets for lease. This flexible approach ensures rapid deployment without the burden of long-term capital equipment investments.

Implementation & ROI

How long does it take to go live with CCTM?

Because we avoid proprietary hardware and complex server builds, we can typically be fully integrated within the soonest possible timeframe.

How does CCTM help with hospitalist recruitment and retention?

Staffing stability is a core benefit of our partnership. By providing 24/7 specialist backup, you reduce the "acuity burden" on your hospitalists. This makes your facility a much more attractive environment for top-tier medical talent who want to know they have expert support during complex cases.

"Partnering with CCTM was the single best decision we made for our hospitalist team. It stabilized our night shift and significantly reduced our reliance on high-cost locum tenens."
